If You Like Swimming In Scary Cold Water, Then The Vampire Swim Is For You!!!
 
Taking place this October Bank Holiday Monday, it's just under 2 weeks to go to the 2020 Vampire Swim Dublin.
 
The Vampire Swim is a worldwide event to highlight the importance of Blood donations. Dublin's Vampire Swim also helps to raise money for Blood Bikes East, your free emergency medical transport service run exclusively by volunteers.
 
The idea is to turn up in fancy dress and then strip off for a bracing swim in the sea!!!
 
But it's 2020 so there is a twist! We can't all come together for an event like this as it would breach the Covid guidance ... BUT that just means you don't have to travel to Sandycove! you can go to the closest piece of freezing cold water in your fancy dress and get a picture and post it to the Facebook page so we fill the cloud with fun and positivity :-)
